First Aid Instructor Training, First Aid Trainer Training, First Aid Business Start up

A successful ITC approved First Aid training business requires:

1. ITC Business Approval (approved by recognised, credible certificating organisation)
2. ITC Accredited Trainer status
3. Accredited Trainers should hold a current 3-day First Aid at Work certificate
4. Accredited Trainers should hold an adult education qualification (PTLLS is current threshold minimum standard)

Finding the course that is tailord to your needs depends upon what qualifications and experience you already possess.

Modular Programme
We provide a 6-day programme consisting of training contact time, mentored consolidation of skills and knowledge, followed by verifiably demonstrating competence.  This programme is designed for you to quickly succeed in delivering quality, recognised training.

If you are new to first aid training and wish to run a training business, 1 - 4 above, then you should attend:

• 5 days + 1 day observed delivery + PTLLS assignments

If you have a suitable teaching qualification and wish to set up a business, gain a FAW qualification, and become an accredited trainer, 1-3 above, then you should attend:

• 3 days + 1 day observed delivery

If you have a teaching qualification, a first aid at work certificate wish to set up a business and become an accredited trainer, 1-2 above, then you should attend:

• 2 days + 1 day observed delivery

If you have a business and wish to employ current accredited trainers, 1 above, then you should attend:

• 2 days

 

The ITC Provider Training Team

The people who deliver the ITC Providers Induction course have a wealth of first aid training, first aid and education experience and have been involved with ITC for a number of years. All our Provider Trainers have their own successful training businesses and with ITC recognition and support they pass their knowledge and experience on to those new to ITC.
